Twenty-three
India vs. Sri Lanka- 1st test at Ahmedabad

Uda Walawe Mahim Bandaralage Chanaka Asanga Welegedara.
That's twenty-three syllables; I could eat lunch faster.
You are ambidextrous between bat and ball,
polysyllabic above all
and you sure can decimate the Indian openers.
But...

...what is your first name?
What is your middle name?
What is not a name at all?
Is there a place involved?
What are your thoughts on the nomenclature of your progeny?
Why?

Poor Chanaka
of big hair, big teeth and big name.
How full is the heart that bears your name.

The longest word in my dictionary is
Mahendra Singh Dhoni.

Last I remember, he'd beaten Vaas (Warnakool...something something...pata...Vaas) to the title for the longest name in a Sri Lankan (and probably in any international cricket) squad...
